 Post subject: Maritime Land Station

I'm setting up a land station using Maritime VHF Radios, but I've run into a problem The antenna's located in Horseshoe Bay and it's kind of a pit and has trouble reaching over the hill to contact anyone in say... English Bay. Any ideas for extending my reach?

Uh maybe the antenna has to go higher to see that traffic ? No ?
