Introduction

Victoria is the capital city of the Province of British Columbia. It is also the largest city in the Capital Regional District. As of 2006, Victoria has had a population of about 75,390 people, and was ranked the 63rd most populated city in all of Canada. Victoria operates a city police department, fire department, and makes use of the British Columbia Ambulance Service all of which use the regionwide CREST radio system to talk.
