Be advised that many emergency services in the Lower Mainland region of BC have transitioned to a digital, fully encrypted two-way radio system. All emergency services on this radio system cannot be monitored by any radio scanner or online scanner feed.

For more information on emergency services (Police, Fire & Ambulance) that use this system please refer to E-Comm's "Radio Fact" web page.

Media coverage related to the transition: Online Scanners

ScanBC is looking for people to host scanner feeds in their community. All you need is a scanner, a computer, and a basic internet connection. If you would like volunteer your scanner please email us.
